Site Director/Multi Site Director

Susan Walter

Ms. Susan has been with M&M for over six years. She is one of the programs’ Multi-Site Directors and also the Site Director for South Canton scholars. Ms. Susan is a certified teacher and graduate of Michigan State University. She works as a Math Intervention Specialist at South Canton and enjoys developing relationships with her students. Some of her favorite pastimes are: spending time with her husband; reading; arts and crafts; and sports, especially track and field, tennis and Jiu Jitsu. Her passion is to empower students to maximize their potential and find the CHAMPION that lives on the inside of them.

Y5'S & KINDER GRADE SPECIALIST

SIERRA

This is Ms. Sierra’s seventh year with M&M. Her love for the students is evident in the way she interacts with and treats them. She is currently pursuing a career that involves working with children and is excited to use her creative and intuitive abilities to keep them involved, active, engaged, and happy to be at M&M. Sierra is an amazing teacher and writer! She uses best practices in all her well thought out lessons and teaches her students to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. The students and parents love her!
1ST & 2ND GRADE SPECIALIST/ COMMUNICATIONS

Sydnee

Sydnee is entering her third year working with M&M. She currently goes to Baker College, majoring in psychology, to obtain her bachelor's degree. Her time with the students was unfortunately cut short due to the pandemic after her first year, so it was nice to reestablish and build relationships when everyone came back. Sydnee feels that working with M&M has been amazing and believes the experience will be helpful towards her career in the future. She loves spending time with the students, laughing, playing games, while also helping them advance in their own lives. Sydnee also assists with parent communication during the day since Ms. Susan is busy with her third-grade classroom from 8-3.

1st - 3rd Grade Specialist

camryn

Camryn is starting her second year with M&M, but has worked with children for 4 years. Her favorite parts of working with the kids are playing games, doing fun activities, and getting to know the students. She is currently going to Schoolcraft College for Early Education. After she earns her associates degree, she plans to transfer to another university. In her spare time, Camryn enjoys running, exercising, and crafts. She also loves spending her time with family and friends. Her favorite TV shows are reality TV. Her favorite books as a kid were the Magic Tree House series. 
1st - 3rd Grade Specialist

Ruth

Ruth is also a new addition to the team, but she joined us after hearing her husband (Mr. Josh) rave about the kiddos and his awesome job at M&M! Ruth loves the outdoors. She enjoys hunting and swimming, as well as playing softball and volleyball on her church’s teams. Ruth loves to hang out with friends and family, whether it’s being outside or playing video games (with her hubby!). She also loves to do artsy things like drawing or painting. Ruth is an avid animal lover, especially puppies and kittens. She always does her best to help where she can, like volunteering to help with the children at her church.
3RD-4TH GRADE SPECIALIST

ADDIE

Adelyn Bhavsar currently attends Madonna University. She’s a sophomore, majoring in accounting. Addie believes that being a college student and working with M&M is great! Although she just started last year, it is easily the best job she’s ever had (her words!). Addie loves learning about the students’ interests and being able to connect with them. She looks forward to another great year with her students and the team at M&M.
5th-6th Grade Specialist

josh

Puppeteer, astronomer, part-time adventurer, lightsaber and fencing enthusiast, Lord of the Rings fanatic, gamer to the core and professional goofball: Mr. Josh has been with M&M for one year. He is dedicated to making sure each and every student knows their value, feels valued, loved, accepted, and encouraged to chase their dreams. Mr. Josh wants every student to realize their potential and that education isn’t just important, it can be fun and quite exciting! So, reach for the stars (just, uh, avoid Betelgeuse for the time being- that one’s looking like it’s gonna blow up soon)!
Enrichment Specialist

Molly

This is Ms. Molly's first year with M&M! She is currently enrolled at Eastern Michigan University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Some of her interests include traveling, being outdoors, hiking, biking, and swimming. She also enjoys spending time perfecting her chords on ukulele. For the past three years, she has had the opportunity to work with kids as a summer camp counselor. She can't wait to get to know the SCAN kiddos and their interests. One of her favorite movies is The Sandlot. She enjoyed Charlotte's Web as a kid. 
Enrichment Specialist

Mr. Nic just joined our team but has been working in childcare for about 13 years. He is currently attending classes at multiple institutions for a variety of degrees and certificates. Nic loves all Detroit sports but his heart bleeds for the Lions and Wings. He enjoys hanging out with his friends, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with his dog (and his new wife!). Go Blue!

Jacqueline

Ms. Jacqueline is new to the M&M team! She is a mother of two grown daughters. She is also the grandmother of a little boy. He is the joy of her life. She enjoys her big family.

Tara ball

Ms. Tara has been with M & M since 2009 and also began as an Enrichment Specialist. But with Tara’s extensive experience and expertise in School-Age programming, it was clear her role was to include so much more. Tara is instrumental in providing high quality care at M&M. Tara is a valuable coach and leader to all Specialists, Site Leaders and even the Administrative Team. Tara will often step into a classroom to cover a shift, to help train a new specialist, or even just because she LOVES working with the kids! Tara’s greatest love—planning and working summer camp!

Madonna Mrocca

As the owner of M&M Daycare, Inc., Madonna has been providing care for children since 1995. As a parent of two children who attended NHA Schools, Madonna understands the important role that M&M Plays in providing a quality school-age program. She understands that strong partnerships with families, co-workers and school-day teachers will aid in the growth and development of each child. Her team of professionals are provided with an equally safe and cooperative workplace where honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and ongoing professional education is their primary responsibility. Although Madonna now operates primarily in the administration of the program, she believes in her team and relies on them to provide the best before and afterschool program available!
